History

Founded in 2008

We have roots going back three generations on this property in Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma. Purchased in the 1950's and homesteaded in the 1960's by my husband's grandparents.

We took over the homestead in the early 2000's continuing with livestock before becoming more focused on growing food. We started with two  expanded gardens and a small greenhouse which has grown into two hoop house style greenhouses and a converted carport that now serves as our citrus house (2025).

In 2017 growing interest in beekeeping (because Grandpa also had bees) we added an apiary producing our own honey. Growing foods we like to eat lead us to learning how to preserve the harvest using several preservation practices including freezing, dehydrating, canning and freeze drying.

Having excess fruits and veggies of the season pushed us into participating in forming a local farmers market connecting community with family traditions & values, sustainability and good all natural food harvested when nature intended.
