History

These cabins are inspired by our love of traveling together as a young family and the special memories that come from slowing down and spending meaningful time together. We wanted to create a peaceful escape where guests could reconnect with nature & unplug from the busyness of everyday life. What started with one cabin has now grown into two unique properties designed to welcome couples, families, and groups seeking a memorable retreat in nature without leaving the luxury of modern convenience behind.

The history of this area is as rich as it’s beauty. The Sans Bois Moutains and Eastern Oklahoma are a truly special place. For centuries, this area was traveled by French fur traders who traded with Indigenous communities throughout the region. The Butterfield Stage route ran just south of the properties & the historic Edward’s Store, the only remaining structure along the trail, is nearby and open to visitors. Today, the landscape remains filled with abundant wildlife, towering pine trees, and breathtaking views.
